I wasn't quite active with blogging and visiting. The idea has been in my mind for quite a while now. And now it's time to take decisions: I will close down this blog. Finally. Without a hidden door.

It's not just a matter of time. But after one and half year blogging about cats I feel it's time for something new. I also do feel like blogging in German. I have loved to express myself in English, day by day it has been my first language while still living in Egypt. And the cats really have sometimes been the only creatures I felt who understood me. This is still the fact. But now all these ideas I have, the stories I have in mind, the things I feel like blogging about, they are all becoming more and more German again. I guess it's a good fact cause it looks like I am finally arriving in Germany. At least somehow. Although I am still talking Arabic with the kitties ;-)

This decision has not been easy to take for me. Taking decisions is not really one of my strengths - I am a Libra, did you know?! But it's just the first of many decision I took and which I will have to act upon now.

This blog has been a big help, an escape, a hideaway. It started in Egypt and ends in Germany. Nobody knows where the story will continue. I am happy to have Chica and Pumuckl and I am happy to be able to take them on the journey. They enrich and brighten my day - every day. They remind me and let me never forget. Just as this blog.

You are such wonderful people. I am so happy I had the chance to meet you in the huge blogosphere. You have helped me through my toughest days and I would wish I could keep as many of you as I could and exchange emails and chit-chat from time to time.

I want to continue blogging. Day by day I am searching for the right domain name but till now I couldn't find the one and only I am absolutely happy with. I want to leave Blogger and have my own WP blog to play around with. But... It will be in German. And I am really sorry to lose most of my readers cause you won't be able to understand my blurbs. Nevertheless once I have found a domain I will publish the new address here, Google Translate might be a help though not be perfect.

I hope one day we will meet again - somewhere, somehow. If you feel like sending us an email, just do it, I will be glad for sure:

some people were asking where we are, we have been missed, today we've also got a friendly reminder to please update our blog cause it's been quite a while. well, we are sorry for the lack of posts. it's just that sometimes we feel to quit the blog, then we feel sad about it... mommy has so many things spinning her head right round, too many things to write down here. she misses blogging but doesn't feel comfortable to do that at the same time those days. so well, please stand with us. and if you miss us, maybe you'd leave us a comment?

While Mommy has other things to do (like playing with her new mobile phone which the postman just delivered today and listening to Halo on it) we enjoy the blanket a friend of Mommy left here... enjoy a good cat nap and some snuggles on it :-)

But enough napping for now! We'll try to do some other things the next days to keep you busy and coming back to our blog :-)
