5 wisdom quotes for today's Sunday:
- "Cats do care. For example they know instinctively what time we have to be at work in the morning and they wake us up twenty minutes before the alarm goes off." Michael Nelson
- "A cat is there when you call her - if she doesn't have something better to do." Bill Adler
- "Most cats, when they are Out want to be In, and vice versa, and often simultaneously." Dr. Louis J. Camuti
- "One small cat changes coming home to an empty house to coming home." Pam Brown
- "There are people who reshape the world by force or argument, but the cat just lies there, dozing, and the world quietly reshapes itself to suit his comfort and convenience." Allen and Ivy Dodd
Chica's & Pumuckl's Sunday Menu
Before we got cats we had a rabbit. I grow up with rabbits so it was just logic to also have a rabbit in Egypt. Sizou was very cute and shared my love for salad, carrots, tomatoes and fruits. I am not a meat lover so in first I didn't know how we would combine the food of us and the cats.
But Chica discovered her love for healthy food and now eats cucumber instead of meat. That is fantastic!

Pumuckl still goes for the Anti-Hairball Treats and Yogurt.

Dr Camuti has perfectly described my sister Maggy... not sure which quote applies to me, Zoey... must give this more thought. Happy Sunday.
We would not go for the cucumbers, but would definitely go for the yogurt, yum!

Cukes? They grow them in the garden but I have never tried them. Maybe this year. That gorgeous bug in your other post would be my choice of snack.
Crunch, crunch, yum, yum!
~Goldie
Those are good quotes. I don't think we would like cucumber. We would rather have a mouse.
Those are great quotes! Maw used to give fresh cucumbers to the guinea pigs, but we never ate them!
Thanks for visiting us!

Words of wisdom, indeed.
I just like to wear cukes on my eyes! :)
I really like that first quote. I have a large Persian cat and when I used to go out to work, he would wake me up every morning by tapping his paw on my nose. Lots of people don't believe this, but it's true.
that is a cute cat,,, I have 2 a siamese and tabby and they are always doing nutty things ...

I dropped an entrecard today to you .. thanks
I like the Pam Brown quote :O)
Cucumber is a very strange thing for a kitty to eat.

P.S. Mummy says did you get the postcards yet?
We loved the quotes!
I love cats! That's so cool that your kitty eats cukes.
Those are great quotes! We're not so sure about the in and out one, though. We are indoor-only cats, and we're happy that way! :)
Cucumber? We've never tried that. Merlin does love yogourt though.
We like your quotes, of course. But yogurt is yuckurt, and cucumbers... well, that is completely absurd. Blechety, blech, blech.
Thank you all for you comments. Indeed I have no idea why Chica suddenly likes cucumbers. She never liked anything else than meat and Felix :)
@Jon: This is too funny. Just don't understand why nobody wants to believe this. Also Pumuckl always meows into my ear to wake me up or is coming under the blanket to annoy us :)
@Babs Unfortunately it didn't arrive till now. But yours is also on the way since last week, so let's see which one arrives first :)
@Natasha: I still think about your latest post. Unbelievable! Thanks for passing by.
I came across this 'old' post, while visiting your blog through a button on Cat-a-holic, Laila and Minchie's blog. But wanted to share that my cat Faffie is crazy about eating cucumber too !! Even when he's in another room and he hears me slicing the cucumber (when the smell can't have reached him yet) he comes running to me to have a piece of it :)
