As Chica didn't eat till now and is quite weak, we have decided to send Pumuckl alone to have some fun in Egypt. As a real guy Pumuckl loves motorcycles, so his today's adventure will lead him to the desert... with a quad!
Quad safaris are one of the most favorite excursions tourists book when staying in Egypt. Besides all the antique temples and buildings the desert is the main attraction. The quad safaris are usually offered as half-day trips for 5-6 hours.
Pumuckl had quite big fun cruising through the desert. But don't worry, he was not driving too fast (just 40 km/h), as there is always a guide with the group who takes care nobody is driving out of sight or too speedy.
The trip brought them 10km through the desert when they finally reached a Bedouin village. There they learned how to make bread (yummy, fresh bread baked at the stone), saw how they live and had dinner. Typical Egyptian food like rice and meat, potatoes in tomato sauce, molokhia, chicken and much more. Pumuckl of course preferred the chicken!
After dinner they changed the quad with a camel to go up the mountain. From there they watched sunset. Wonderful!
Pumuckl really had a fun time and Chica was a bit jealous in the end she didn't join.

that looks like wonderful fun. the weather around these parts hasn't been very conducive to scooter riding so I've been stuck getting around town in my car. i'm not happy about that.
