Pumuckl got fat! Really!
He is eating for 2 now and I can see the effect already!

I don't want to have a fat cat! I think we have to put him on a diet.
Did your cat also got fat after spaying?

Pumuckl, I am sorry, I don't want to hurt your feelings. But you should really stop eating so much!

For all who were asking about Chica in the comments: Well, she started to eat a bit. She has never been a big fan of food (except for Felix and meat of course). I am happy she is eating at least 10 pieces of dry food in the morning.
But otherwise she is doing fantastic. She is sleeping in the bedroom again and demanding more and more snuggling :)
She even enjoyed the sun at the balcony balustrade again yesterday.
But do you see the difference between fat Pumuckl and her?

na wenn du die aus verschiedenen perspektiven fotografierst, is ja klar, dass der eine fetter is als die andere!;-) also sei nich so unhöflich und stell den pumuckl als dicke katze dar...:-)
Chica, we hope you start to eat a little more soon. Pumuckl, you need to eat a little less!
Neither of us it fat, but we have a fast metabolism (it helps to keep us warm) plus we play a lot!
Eat up Chica!!!!! Pumuckl, um.... maybe you should take a few laps around the livingroom.

Well,Pumuckl is growing boy :) maybe he just needs to be a bit more active, heehee
I am glad Chica is doing better! She is a very pretty cat!!

Puh, you don't know how active he is already! More would be too much! :-)
I have to search if there is a cat gym around, lol :-)
I hope it will get better as soon as Chica and he will be chasing each other through the flat.
The vet actually told us he would get a bit fat... But I didn't think it will happen :-(
glad to hear Chica is eating a little better. as for Pumuckl, he's just big boned.
It's a funny thing, because Mitzi has become very heavy since she was spayed. MB isn't sure if it's fat or that she is a heavy cat. Her brother is a very large cat too.

Hi sister! Don't feel bad, after I had my "female" surgery, I gained weight too. I think this is normal they say.
Chica, you are doing great. Everyday you will eat more and get stronger and in no time put some weight back on and feel "perkier".

Pumuckl just needs to exercise a little more. Once Chica is totally back to herself, I bet there will be a change...more playing, more activity, etc. Glad she is continuing on the upward swing.

Pumuckl is so cute but he needs some activity to trim the body.
I made something to help with dropping for Entrecard. I thought you might be interested.
Since I thought your blog is just the cutest ever I already I put you on the list already. I hope you don't mind. Come over and check it out.
If you know anyone else who should be added to the list. Give them a heads up. I would love to add more blogs.
we don't think Pumuckl is fat at all.
Doesn't look fat too me. Maybe just big boned.
Simba x
I don´t think that Pumuckl is too fat. The red cat are always bigger than other cats.
they are both gorgeous. dont think pumuckl is fat, unless its a good camera angel lol.
Get them to sunbathe more on the balcony and they can sweat the fat off! :) x
Hi Ana.. Oh both your kitties gorgeous, just like Tina said!!..
All my kitties get fatter after spaying.. I think it's just part of nature..but no worries.. as long as you can feel their ribs.. should be fine :)
You know, it isn’t that hard to keep from having an obese cat — you feed it a bit less every day. Unless your house is *loaded* with dumb vermin, the cat is only going to eat what you feed it — it’s not like it’s going to pick your pocket, hop in the car, and drive to market or order pizzas on the sly. Granted, limiting food intake gets harder if you’ve got multiple cats and they aren’t all fat … some of these critters are major loads, though. T’ain’t healthy for them and all.
A goldie, fattie cat. Simply good looking cutie pet.
