Some of you might remember our daily evening activity right before sleeping: Catch The Ribbon. We used to play this, the cats and me, and after that everyone got tired enough to not wake me up during night.
When moving I took the cats' ribbons with me. In fact I took all toys we collected over time, but we never had the time to really use them here. But yesterday, finally, I got the ribbon out and we played. The cats really looked as they missed it so much, especially Chica, who freaks out every time she sees the ribbon and imagines herself to be a young kitty, not the lady cat she always pretends to be.
No chance for Pumuckl to join playing...
He can just watch...

Looks like Chica really enjoyed the ribbon time. :) I love the 5th shot especially; it was like she was looking right into the camera when you were taking the shot. Good idea to wear them out in game so that they don't wake you up during the night. I will share this with my friend, she has 2 cats too and she told me that they are always scratching her hands when she is sleeping at night. ;)
Grab the ribbon is a great game, it is one of our favourites. We see Pumuckl watching. Good playing Chica.
I don't haf a ribbon but I do have a fweecy fing miewmie calls 'Mr Shaky Stick'. I run all ofer the place chasing MSS.

Our cat, Tesla, goes absolutely wild and starts talking if there is some light reflected onto the ceiling.

Our harness is a soft Puppia harness - our mom bought it online. It is much nicer, and harder to get out of, than the figure 8 harnesses you can buy in the pet stores.
It looks like your cat had a wonderful time of catch the ribbon. My cat, Manny, likes to chase the feather on the string before bed and also in the morning before I go to work. I can't get Spunky to play with me lately--she always used to like to play with anything. I'm concerned about this but believe she's just jealous that I play with Manny.
Funny to see those cats... One of them really looks like my cat....
